There are some rules concerning factions. They are pretty much the same as the in-game rules though. Read them, please. They are still brand-new, so if you have something to discuss/suggest about them, leave a comment to this entry.

1. In most cases, you just pick one Guild and/or House, the ones that you feel the most interest for/attraction to. You have to be sensible though. For example, there isn’t much sense in belonging to House Dres and Two Lamps at the same time, is there?
   
   NB: I have noticed that most members just pick a Guild or House. Is that because you feel like joining just your favourite guild, or is it you being shy?



2. Joining several Houses is impossible, much like it is in the game. _{And no, we're not taking into account that little glitch in vanilla Morrowind.}



3. Joining several Guilds is only a tiniest bit different. If you absolutely cannot live without being a member of two Guilds, the matter can be discussed. But I suggest that one person should not join a multitude of guilds, that will only make a mess. The rules of being sensible and keeping close to the game lore apply here as well.



4. You can be a member of a Great House even if you are already a member of some Guild. This is why the Houses are listed separately. NB: This list might be later divided into separate journal entries for Houses and Guilds.



5. You can not be a vampire and a member of any Guild and/or House apart from Mages Guild and Telvanni House (because these two don’t seem to give a damn about what you are, if you’re a good mage. Correct me if I'm wrong.).
